Cookies

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on cosivale.com, what each category is for, and how to change your mind at any time.

01 — What these are

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage and tracking pixels — do comparable things: they let a site remember something between page loads, or let a provider measure how the site is used. We group them into three categories: Necessary, Analytics and Marketing.

02 — Necessary

Needed for the site to work. These cannot be switched off, because without them the shop simply does not function.

  • Your cart contents, kept in your browser's local storage so it survives a page reload.
  • Your cookie choice itself, stored locally under the key cosivale.consent.v1.
  • Checkout-related storage and cookies set by Stripe so payment and fraud prevention work.

03 — Analytics

Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-Y7PCVXK1CZ) measures traffic and how the site is used — which pages are visited, from where, on what kind of device — so we can improve the store. It is loaded only after you accept Analytics, and page views are sent manually by us rather than automatically, to avoid double counting.

04 — Marketing

Meta Pixel (ID 1693072548454121) measures the results of advertising and allows remarketing. It is loaded only after you accept Marketing. Meta's automatic event detection is switched off, so only the shop events we wired manually are sent:

  • PageView — a page of the site was viewed.
  • ViewContent — a product page was viewed.
  • AddToCart — a product was added to the cart.
  • InitiateCheckout — checkout was started.
  • Purchase — an order was confirmed as paid.

05 — Your controls

When you first visit, the banner offers Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Manage preferences to choose Analytics and Marketing separately. Until you accept a category, nothing in it loads: no Google or Meta request is made at all.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Cookie settings in the footer, or here:

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Clearing browser storage also clears your saved preference, so the banner will appear again.

06 — Third parties

The analytics and advertising technologies above are provided by Google and by Meta, and payment-related cookies by Stripe. Those providers set their own cookies under their own privacy terms. The exact cookie names, purposes and lifetimes are controlled by them and can change over time, so we do not publish a fixed list here and present it as permanently exact.
